Everything on blackJAKO and Bayer 04 Leverkusen present the new home jersey for the 2020/21 season.
The new season is casting its shadow. In the last home game of the season on Saturday, 27 June and in the final match for the DFB Cup on 4 July, the Werkself will be playing with a black and white club emblem on their chest. The logo is the central element of the new home jersey presented today by equipment supplier JAKO and Bayer 04 Leverkusen. Together with the red collar and the red sleeve cuffs, it characterizes the style of the jersey.
Stefan Kießling, management consultant at Bayer 04 Leverkusen, says: "We wanted to interpret the classic club colours of Bayer 04 Leverkusen in a new, modern design. I think we succeeded very well with this jersey. The black and white club emblem is exemplary for our standards".
The black jersey is embossed with vertical pinstripes that symbolize the eleven players of the Werkself. The neckband is printed 'werkself' on the outside and 'Bayer 04' on the inside. The name of the city 'Leverkusen' is embossed on the sleeve seams. The functional material with which the teams of Bayer 04 Leverkusen will play in the coming season has been thought out down to the smallest detail.
"We had intensive discussions with Stefan and the Werkself team council before the design process began," says Christoph Rohmer, Head of Sponsoring at JAKO. "In consultation with the players, we have, among other things, provided the sleeves with a higher proportion of elastane to allow even better mobility in the area of the upper body and arms for competition".
The new jersey is available immediately at www.jako.de and in the fan and online shops of Bayer 04 Leverkusen in sizes from 128 to 5 XL and at a price of €79.99 (children: €59.99).
